From our Drug Rehab and Alcohol Recovery Clients and Families:

Life just doesn’t go as we plan and I’ve learned so much from all this. Our son has grown and changed so much and realized so much through your wisdom and counsel. As for me, I am a mom that expects everything to go my way and I have learned things aren’t that way. Thank you for helping me to see things in a different perspective and accept life the way it twists and turns. I want to thank you from my heart. Thank you for saving my son.  Zions Narrows Testimonials

I wanted to thank you for the day on the ropes course. I learned so much from that day and it broke the ice and enabled our family to have the start of a new beginning and also made us all see the times we used to and can still have. Russ I can’t thank you enough for this guidance and help. Your giving us our son back. I am so happy my son has you to guide him (and us.) Thank you.

Thanks for the gift of sobriety and a chance for a better life. You’re a great teacher that has so much to offer all that know you, a mentor who makes you feel like you really can do it, and most of all a person who I can call one of my “few” true friends.

Thank you for your patience, perseverance and understanding with us. We appreciate everything you did to help us out of a really bad situation!

Dear Russ,

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much I have enjoyed the ed-psych group/program. When I first began, knowing that this was court mandated, I naturally had many negative connotations. My circumstances resulted from an extremely bad decision and certainly thought that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I’m not a serious drinker and really felt that I didn’t belong in a “corrective measures” program. After my 16 hours, I have a distinctly different opinion. I am truly amazed how you and your staff seem to make such a difference in the young minds of your group.

I know that I don’t have much in common with them and their lives, least of all my advanced age, but the time spent in these sessions has shown me some life lessons. Every one of them is different and live different circumstances, but you seem to be able to pull them together pursuing a collective goal– a modern day “pied piper” as it were.

It has made me realize how lucky this group is and hopefully they will eventually feel the same. It also makes me wonder in this day and age how many kids are out there that don’t have these resources available to them. I can’t tell you how much I admire the incredibly difficult hard work that you and your staff are doing. I now realize that it takes special people and unique personalities to even scratch the surface.

My special thanks to Marie—mostly I think because I spent the most time with her. Not only a great personality and smart, but really a breath of fresh air. She loves her job and is most certainly a credit to your profession.

Thanks again for a great experience–please let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your program.

Sincerely,

B.H.
