Toquerville Utah Drug and Alcohol Rehab

The city of Toquerville with a population of just over 900 is located in a beautiful valley with Ash creek on one side, and a lava rock covered mountain on the other. The primary water source for the valley is a natural spring in the mountains about a mile from town.  With an elevation of 3,394 feet it offers clean and clear air, and a night sky with stars that can be breathtaking.

Toquerville is the gateway to several national parks and recreation areas such as; Zion National Park, Grand Canyon, and Lake Powell.

Our facility known as Lion’s Gate and is a 10 – bed, 3-level, Co-ed facility that has its own year round stream that runs along the south end of the property that provides one with a constant reminder to the senses of how wonderful nature and life can be. It is easy to sit next to the stream under our mature cottonwood trees, and take it all in, and find inner peace during the recovery process, it is a small touch of heaven on earth.

As part of our Alcohol and Drug rehab program we have incorporated in our curriculum several components that are unique to Lion’s Gate including; our “Family Recovery Program” where the entire family is invited to attend every Wednesday night, our “Musical” experience, and “Nutritional” education. These highly effective experiential therapies coupled with the traditional Equine and Ropes Course makes our therapeutic program one of the most comprehensive curriculums of any Drug and Alcohol Rehab facility in the nation.
