Residential Drug Rehab and Alcohol Recovery

Talbot Recovery Solutions, LLC operates Drug Rehab and Alcohol Rehab programs in both Inpatient and Outpatient facilities in both St. George and Toquerville, in southern Utah, in an area that is affectionately known as "Color Country" due to the beautiful red colors of the surrounding mountains and deserts. You will be rejuvenated by the vivid and varied scenery of southwestern Utah as our backdrop. Our facilities are all located in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the nation and we are near many world famous National Parks including;  Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park,  and the Grand Canyon's North Rim, as well as several National Monuments including Cedar Breaks.

Drug rehab and alcohol recovery is also a Healing of the Mind, Body, and Soul. This is done with the body first approach, by utilizing several regimen's combined together including intensive therapy and nutrition. This is complemented by consults with our medical staff and fitness coaches. We will include activities such as hiking, swimming, athletic club attendance, and more.

Our Inpatient Drug rehab and Alcohol recovery program:

Each of our Drug Rehab and alcohol recovery facilities is state of the art in both accommodations, and in our professionally trained and experienced staff. Each of our locations has its own unique set of therapeutic and counseling capabilities and services which allows us a great deal of resources and flexibility to help in your recovery. This is a highly critical piece of our capabilities in that we can introduce you to a wide range of highly skilled staff and therapeutic components that would not normally be made available to you in a less capable Drug rehab and Alcohol recovery facility. This capability sets Talbot Recovery Solutions at the forefront of your personalized care, recovery, and sobriety.

Programs:

Our programs are facilitated by Master’s & Ph.d., level State Licensed Therapists, plus carefully selected mental health (LCSW, LPC) and substance abuse (LSAC) Interns who are actively enrolled and pursuing a Masters Level Degree.   We also incorporate a wide variety of individuals currently in active recovery, plus professional, para-professionals, guest lecturers and additional speakers from all walks of life, i.e. musicians, financial experts, occupational therapists, car restoration people, equine therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists skilled in traditional and holistic approaches.

Phase I

Primary care program, including group, individual, recreational, and work therapy all provided within an intensive therapeutic living and working environment. Our programs are for a period of either 30 or 45 days, and are full service including; housings, meals, and other life requirements.

Phase II

Is our Transitional care program, and consists of group therapy, Individual and recreational therapy. This phase is also offered in either 30 or 45 days in the evenings, within a less structured therapeutic living environment, and includes housing and meals.


Intensive Outpatient:

This specific level of care consists of group, individual and recreational therapy. Our Clients maintain off campus residence and attend evening sessions, Monday through Friday 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Aftercare Programs

Are designed to meet individual needs for those who have completed Inpatient or Intensive Therapy at other facilities. The process begins with an evaluative assessment, including a SASSI-3 (Substance Abuse Subtle Screen Inventory), additional ASAM criterion instruments, including a clinical interview. This individualized, evaluative assessment determines which program (if any) will be recommended for treatment. Other designed treatment recommendations, including individual clinical sessions, may be made.

The Psych/Educational Program

Is intended for first offender type individuals who are using chemicals but, as yet, have not experienced "major" negative effects from their usage, or have recently completed a program with another agency. The primary focus of this program is educational only, although it will no doubt have a therapeutic effect on participants who are truly committed. These 1½ hour group sessions are held one night per week for 15 weeks.

The 6 Month IOPCD Program

Is an intense short-term clinically therapeutic program designed to positively affect the client’s sobriety, teach the participant skills to last a lifetime and to further introduce the client to the 12 Step program philosophies. Anyone enrolling in this program commits to initially spending 3 hours per night, 3 nights per week for the first 5 weeks, then pending completed assignments, the participant would transition to 2 nights per week for 4 weeks, then 1 time per week for 4 weeks, then one 90 minute aftercare session for the remainder of the 6 months. The cost of this program includes: the evaluation session, an orientation session, three individual/couple/family sessions (additional sessions are available), random and scheduled urinalysis testing, case management sessions, a 3 ring binder workbook, numerous handout materials, and a letter of completion. Participants are also expected to attend two AA/NA or other 12 Step meetings per week, and obtain an active local sponsor. Some leeway is given if the enrollee is an active participant and chooses to attend the religious or spiritual services of their choice. (See In both below)

The 18 Month IOPCD Program

Is designed to be as close as possible without being an "Inpatient" situation; the intent being a clinically therapeutic program designed to affect the client’s long term sobriety, teaching life skills which will last a lifetime. Anyone enrolling in this program commits to initially spending 3 hours per night, 3 nights per week for the first 10 weeks, then pending completed assignments, the participant would transition to 2 nights per week for 8 weeks, then 1 time per week for 8 weeks, then one 90 minute aftercare session for the remainder of the program. The cost of this program includes: the evaluation session, an orientation session, Utah Meadow About Talbot Recovery Solutions & Lions Gateeight individual/couple/family sessions (additional sessions are available), random and urinalysis testing, case management sessions, a 3 ring binder workbook, numerous handout materials, a graduation diploma. Participants are also expected to attend two AA/NA or other 12 Step meetings per week, and obtain an active local sponsor. Again, some leeway is given if the client is an active participant and attends the religious or spiritual services of their choice.

In both

Of the Intensive IOP programs the individual is minimally expected to complete the first 3 Steps of a 12 Step program, a written autobiography, several miscellaneous assignments, and an aftercare contract, all processed on a group level. One all day, outdoor (Ropes) experiential session is available and the IOP member is expected to attend. Family nights are part of the program and held once a week. Individuals in the program are expected to bring their spouse, parent, and/or significant other(s) to these sessions. A graduation certificate suitable for framing is issued upon successful completion of this program which includes payment of all fees.

The Domestic Violence Recovery Program

Is an intense short-term clinically therapeutic program designed to positively affect the client's violent behavior and teach him/her life skills to reach and maintain a nonviolent lifestyle. Participants will learn to prevent physical, sexual, and psychological violence in their interpersonal relationships. Parent Enhancement Program

Is an effective 10 Week Parenting Class. Skills taught include: Effective discipline, managing emotions, effective communication, having fun with your kids, and talking to kids about the “tough stuff” – i.e. sex, drugs, and current events.

Life Skills Training Classes

Teach individuals the skills to live comfortably and have the ability to deal with life changes. Adults who develop their Life Skills become independent people who can live on their own without constant help from others for their basic needs. Life Skills training for adults are especially helpful when dealing with alcoholism, drug abuse or mental illness. Lessons include coping with stress, empathy, problem solving, communication skills, critical thinking, decision making, self awareness, relationship skills and creative thinking.

"Shades of Gray" BPD Recovery Program

Is designed for women struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder. This 2 hour, weekly group therapy program is supplemented with weekly individual therapy.

The "Life Star" Recovery Program

Is designed for women who are married to, or are currently living with a partner who is and/or has exhibiting addictive behaviors to pornography.

Educational Consulting & Program Advisement

As part of the services offered by Talbot Recovery Solutions, LLC; Russ Talbot specifically consults with parents who have children who are currently not progressing sufficiently, and/or their behavior is inappropriate for the educational setting or learning situation they are currently in. Russ consults, with the parent(s), locates and assists and/or otherwise facilitate the admission of these youth into various programs or schools, i.e. boarding schools, residential treatment facilities, special needs schools, and/or wilderness programs, etc.

Intervention &/or Residential Treatment Consulting

An additional service offered by Talbot Recovery Solutions, LLC; is that Russ Talbot specifically consults with those who have loved ones who have abused or become addicted to chemical substances and may need intervention &/or residential or inpatient treatment to present the best alternative for becoming clean and sober. An intervention is an orchestrated attempt by family members and friends to compel a chemically dependent person get help for an addiction or other problem. With the help of an intervention specialist and loved ones, the intervention process does not have to be painful, but can be the beginning of a new way of living for all those involved. Russ often tours or visits both adolescent and adult facilities giving him a first-hand view of those facilities who offer such treatment. Russ can then advise the family on which treatment option would be the best “fit” for their loved one.
